Description
Newly elected leaders in the U.S. and Canada have promised changes in direction. What that means for water law and policy, on both sides of the border, was the focus of the 17th annual Great Lakes Water Conference on Friday, November 3 at the University of Toledo College of Law. Titled “The Trump and Trudeau Administrations on Water,” the conference featured two expert panels discussing the actions and plans of the new administrations of President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau regarding our water resources, including the Great Lakes. The conference was sponsored by the College of Law and its Legal Institute of the Great Lakes. Madeline Fleisher, Staff Attorney Environmental Law,spoke at the conference.
