Description

International trade and investment support more than one-half million private-sector jobs in Ohio, many of them being manufacturing jobs. Trade is one of the most talked about issues in Washington, D.C., but the benefits for individuals and businesses are often overshadowed by rhetoric. Congress has not faced a vote on trade recently, but the importance of free and open trade for states like Ohio is arguably greater than ever before.

The Heritage Foundation’s Tori Whiting and David Kreutzer, and Regional Growth Partnership’s Paul Zito discussed The Heritage Foundation research on how trade benefits Toledo, Ohio, and America.

The lecture was held at The Toledo Club.
