Mary Wolfe, Art Historian discussed the meaning of much of the art work painted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican. Michelangelo painted the ceiling between 1508 and 1512. The ceiling features a series of frescoes showing "God's Creation of Work," "God's Relationship with Mankind," and "Mankind's Fall from God's Grace."
