Julie McMaster, Toledo Museum of Art’s Archivist, spoke on “The Pied Piper of Toledo.”

In a January 1938 article from Fortune Magazine, George Washington Stevens was named “The Pied Piper of Toledo.” Ms. McMaster discussed the following:

Why was this newspaperman named the Toledo Museum’s second director? Who was he? What made him so successful? Julie McMaster is the Toledo Museum of Art’s Archivist.
