The Maple Syrup Industry

Ohio is known as one of the top maple syrup producing states, and some producers have sought to expand the industry through new uses and products for this beloved topping. Often referred to as “America’s first natural sweetener,” maple syrup has woven itself into the fabric of our nation’s food history.
