Description

The Maumee Film Festival celebrated the art of creativity, filmmaking and storytelling. It allowed aspiring filmmakers the unique opportunity to see their work projected on a movie screen in the Maumee Indoor Theater.

As filmmakers, most are notorious for loving their long establishing shots and dramatic title sequences that set the stage for their preciously crafted tales. Before you know it, you are three minutes in and you haven’t even started. But sometimes you’ve got to ruthlessly trim the fat and make every second count—the five minute edit you are left with is likely stronger and more arresting than the ten minute one you started with.
