Ms Skagnes' lecture was part of the 10th Annual Human Trafficking Conference held at The University of Toledo.
The purpose of the conference is to bring together researchers and practitioners in an effort to lay the groundwork for future collaborative research, advocacy, and program development. To educate social service, health care, and criminal justice professionals on human trafficking and the needs and risks of those victimized by the commercial sex industry.
