Hinduism is the world’s oldest religion, according to many scholars, with roots and customs dating back more than 4,000 years.

Today, Hinduism is the world’s third-largest religion, with most of its followers in India. Dr. Anjali D. Gray discussed some of the most important beliefs, schools of thought, practices, festivals, and teachings.

Dr. Gray is a professor in the Department of Biology & Health Sciences at Lourdes University. She teaches a wide variety of classes, from introductory biology to upper-level core courses, and her favorite subject is genetics.

The lecture was part of Lourdes University's Lifelong Learning Monthly Lecture Series. The series aims to bring outstanding speakers to our community.
