How an Ordinary Man Achieved His Dream with One Red Paperclip
Description
Run Time: 56:49
In accordance with Junior League’s legacy of hosting motivational and thought provoking business events, this year the League presented Inspire Toledo, inspiring effective action and leadership to improve our communities. Inspire Toledo was headlined by Kyle MacDonald, author of One Red Paperclip: Or How an Ordinary Man Achieved His Dream with the Help of a Simple Office Supply.
MacDonald, Guiness World Record holder for Most Successful Internet Trade, as well as Discovery Channel’s Curiousity Expert, talks about starting small, thinking big, and having fun while achieving your dreams. Inspired by a childhood game “Bigger and Better,” MacDonald successfully bartered his way from red paperclip holder to homeowner in fourteen trades. Through his quirky anecdotes and tales, he inspires his audiences to find their own red paperclips and take action in realizing their dreams.
The event was held at Parkway Place.
