John Miller began working in glass in 1987 at Southern Connecticut State University and received his MFA in sculpture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is best known for his pop art approach to oversized place settings and Venetian goblets made with large-scale blown glass. He has been on staff at Pilchuck Glass School since 1993. In 1998, he was awarded the CGCA Fellowship at Wheaton Village in Millville, NJ. He exhibits his work and lectures locally and nationally.
