Ericka Osen, former period clothing coordinator for Greenfield Village and Conner Prairie, presented the first of a two-part workshop on historical clothing Sunday, November 23 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Indianola Shelter at Farnsworth Metropark. Participants learned about late 19th Century work dresses and fabrics, then went shopping for fabrics and notions to make 1875-1900 clothing for use in Metroparks living history programs. Volunteers In Parks has provided a grant to pay for the materials.
