Great Lakes Symposium

The mission of the Toledo Zoo is to inspire others to join us in caring for animals and conserving the natural world. That goal made the Zoo the perfect host for an educational event focusing on environmental issues facing the Great Lakes and its watershed region. The Great Lakes Symposium was held at the Toledo Zoo.

Patrick Lawrence, Ph.D., professor and department chair for the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Toledo, spoke at the symposium.
