Description

This visually stunning program reflected the mood and content of a new book (Birds of Prey) by Pete Dunne and Kevin Karlson (April 2017, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishers). They shared their inspiration for the book and told some interesting anecdotes and natural history stories about raptors. Photos and stories about select raptor species were also presented, with both speakers relying on over 80 collective years of experience viewing, studying, and counting birds of prey.

The presentation was part of The Biggest Week in American Birding. The lecture was at Maumee Bay State Park.
