Fr. Bacik spoke on The Apocalyptic Worldview Shared by Steve Bannon and ISIS: A Theological Critique. The event was at the Franciscan Center. He examined some fundamental positions of Advisor to the President Steve Bannon from the perspective of the worldview of Pope Francis. The presentation focused on Bannon’s outlook on the Muslim world and the growing problem of Islamophobia. After the lecture Toledo Blade Op Ed columnist Dr. S. Amjad Hussain offered his response.
