The Prevention and Politics of Lead Poisoning

According to the World Health Organization, lead is one of the 10 chemicals of major public health concern, especially for children. 

The University of Toledo hosted a professional panel, “The Prevention and Politics of Lead Poisoning.” Andrew Baden and Paula Hicks-Hudson spoke at the conference.

Local professionals discussed the causes of lead poisoning, how to prevent it, and how to get involved in community action surrounding lead poisoning prevention.
