On May 11, 2010, Toledo Public Schools hosted a meeting for parents, students and area residents in regards to the superintendent search.
Cheryl Ryan from the Ohio School Boards Association facilitated the meeting - she is the consultant TPS is working with through the search process. During the meeting, Ms. Ryan focused on three main topics: major issues facing the district in the next three to five years; performance expectations for the next superintendent; and personal and professional qualities to be sought in the next TPS leader.
